The “Pin High Marker Set” has been shown at the PGA Merchandise Show Florida, USA… Golf Europe in Munich, Germany… and the London Golf Show in the UK.
Dave & Ron Bostock own the patent rights for an original golf product known as the “Telescopic Marker Set“, a neat solution for marking the nearest pin and longest drive in golf comps these are known in the USA as Proximity Markers.
As amateur golf society members it soon became apparent that many of the golf courses which we visited had no specialised way of marking the nearest pin and longest drives for their visiting customers… not a very good advertisement.
Some proshops, that did have markers, loaned them out but these were usually heavy steel contraptions which were difficult to carry, the cards would get wet and become unusable and on several occasions the markers were already being used by earlier groups… we were amazed that no one had thought of producing a product which would satisfy both the golf groups and the proshops…. this resulted in our product which was subsequently shown at the PGA Merchandise Show In Orlando, The London Golf Show and Golf Europe in Munich.
